He calls them "mama pants" because he knows that I made them for him. He really likes them and asks for them by name. This melts my heart because I know this sweet time of wearing homemade pants is a very short one and I am savoring every moment.
When Sollie was a newborn papa called him our "turtle without a shell" and even before he was born I was inspired to make turtles like the turtle quilt I made very late in my pregnancy. So the turtle is his symbol in many ways.The fabric really does suit his spunky fun loving personalty so well.
