Spring is most definitely here now, and the trees have been blooming now for over 8 weeks.
I know the thrill of knitting for some is getting old, and it is now time to bust out the sewing machine and start making cute skirts for summer, but I just wanted to post a few knits that I have neglected to share. I may even find the time to update my Ravelry ( although it is "mama movie time"..so I doubt I will) which is why I posted these in the first place. ....sigh, it has been a long day.
Some leg warmers for myself...they have come in SO incredibly handy this spring. I need to make many more. For the pattern I just cast on 40 sts with worsted weight wool...I think I used size 7 dpns...did about an inch and a half of P2 K2 ribbing on the top and bottom and the rest was just straight knitting. I tried them on several times while in progress to make them the length I needed. Simple as pie. I have worn them many, many times and they still stay up very well. Does this look familiar? Seen before here.
