Happy Half Birthday!!!!

Could it be half a year already? I still thank him daily for coming into my life. He had his first taste of banana and is now proudly chasing after sophie in his little baby car. I love seeing them play together and hearing them laugh. He officially weighs half of what she does despite a 7 year age gap! What a BIG little guy. He is still mellow and easy going and his wanderlust has tamed a bit since he has leared to scoot around in his walker, and sit up , and roll. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

anniversaries

.... speaking of weddings and such,we just celebrated our 7th anniversary on the 2nd!
We rented a yurt out on the coast. It was Solomon's first time at the ocean. We walked together on the beach for the first time not in utero,it was heavenly. He fell alseep in his pouch to the sound of the waves. Then papa and Solomon hung out in the car and napped(it was sprinkley) while Sophie and I hunted for agates on the beach. It was a good time.... If you click on the photo of the light house and look closely you will see Ben and Sophie.

Solomon(a.k.a. Kai Yugi) is 5 months!

I can't even believe it. I am trying to soak up every precious moment. He has made huge leaps in his abilities in this past month. I have seen him change before my eyes, he has gone from little baby, content to watch everything, to a baby plagued with wanderlust and curiosity. He is even "getting into trouble" already. He is eager to start each day which has left me exhausted.I wouldn't be surprised if I woke up one morning to him sitting by my side with a cup of tea ready saying,"Well mother, it is about time."
